About the people and things I care about. This topic is very personal; what I like may not be suitable for others. After all, it is closely related to my experiences and background. However, I hope to list some things that I think are good to inspire you.
I generally use RSS to subscribe to the people or organizations in the following list, and I read almost every article.
The order is not important, purely based on my mood.
People#
Some people who are not convenient to disclose, I won't write here; the hidden limit is 100 (may adjust).
I want to think of a way to synchronize this list with my Follow later, as the overlap is a bit too high. This list should not be updated soon.I will write a script for synchronization during the National Day.
📚 Tech Bloggers#
The reason there are so few is that I can't understand other more in-depth tech bloggers.
- 阮一峰 - His technology enthusiast weekly is a must-read for me every week; the articles are easy to understand, especially suitable for beginners.
- DIYgod - Whether it's RSSHub
or XLog, it's full of warmth and humanity; how can one not like it? (Silent tribute to XLog, which is basically unusable now) - … I should actually find a few more here, especially foreign English bloggers.
✍️ Writers#
The authors listed here are those whose works I would read all of.
- 沃尔特・艾萨克森 - The author of the biographies of Steve Jobs and Elon Musk; his biographies are the best I've ever read.
- 住野夜 - It's been a long time since he had a new work, to the point that I've almost forgotten him. He peaked at debut, and his later works received lower ratings, but I still really like him.
- 阿尔贝・加缪 - Although I didn't quite understand "The Myth of Sisyphus," I was deeply shocked. I especially liked the definitions and statements about absurdity in it. (Later realized that absurdity is the "nothingness" fate in "崩铁.")
- 卡夫卡 - Just "The Metamorphosis" alone made me curious about his works.
- 钱钟书 - When I first read "围城," I thought it was about the 72 tricks of picking up girls~~.
- 刘慈欣 - "The Three-Body Problem" was the first time I learned what hard science fiction is.
- 榎宮祐 - The author of "NO GAME NO LIFE," I have already bought a set.
- 陈忠实 - "白鹿原" can be said to be China's "One Hundred Years of Solitude."
- 刘勃 - A historical writer and screenwriter. I read his "说三分," which discusses the Three Kingdoms story from historical, folk, and romantic perspectives; it's very interesting.
- 六神磊磊 - I won't talk much about his reviews of Jin Yong; "唐诗寒武纪" is easy to read, as if savoring a martial arts novel.
🎨 Cartoonists#
For cartoonists, I try to list their X accounts. Generally, the authors marked here have more than one work. I will follow their subsequent works.
- 石黑正数 - The author of "天国大大魔境," the story is very worth pondering, and I have read each of his works at least twice.
- 山田中人 - The author of "葬送的芙莉莲," although the fight scenes are comparable to PPT, his story feels very interesting to me.
- 七尾七希 - Who says "勇者赫鲁库" is comedic? It tortures me to death~~.
- 谏山创 - Everyone thinks it ended poorly, but I actually think its ending should be like that in a certain sense.
- 大暮维人 - His art style is unique; as long as it's not an original work he wrote, the manga is very good. For example, "化物语" and "深渊融接."
- one - The original author of "One Punch Man," along with "Mob Psycho 100," even if it's just line art, I still find it very good.
- 木城幸人 - "铳梦" taught me what cyberpunk is.
- 藤本树 - A genius writer with plots that are always unpredictable. I really want to give him a fiery punch.
- 八木教広 - The difference between awakeners and humans in "大剑" is really thought-provoking. Very subtle.
- 荒木飛呂彥 - Who just mentioned JOJO?
- 市川春子 - "宝石之国" might be my favorite work during college.
- 大武政夫 - All characters have a poker face, but the plot is very absurdly funny. "超能力女儿" really hits my funny bone every episode~~.
- 富坚义博 - The worldview of "Hunter" is really rich; I think every one of his works is worth a look.
- 奈央晃德 - I just found out that 奈央晃徳's "七人魔法使" is still being drawn, already 31 volumes. This is simultaneously opening two monthly comics; "我立于百万生命之上" is also drawn by him, and the art style is quite recognizable; the male protagonist all looks the same~~.
- 赤坂明 - The author of "我推的孩子" and "辉夜大小姐想让我告白," his works are very interesting, especially "我推的孩子." (Definitely because of the elements added by 横枪萌果.)
- 石田スイ - "東京喰種" is my favorite manga from high school. Back then, I had to borrow a classmate's phone to watch it late at night on Sundays. The work deceives with a dark art style, and the protagonist is always tortured to bits.
- 走马灯 - The author of "影宅," Emily is just so cute.
- 创山谏 - The author of "Attack on Titan," I think his work is one of the best I've ever seen.
- 矢澤愛 - The author of "NANA," I no longer get entangled in the love between Nana and Hachi. (Unfortunately, it has been indefinitely suspended).
Manga Original
- 山川直輝 - The original author of "我家的英雄" and "我立于百万生命之上," the story is very interesting, just filled with many political concepts. Both works' animations have been disastrous.
- 舞城王太郎 - The settings are very interesting, but the story is just so-so. He is the original author of "异度入侵" and "深渊融接."
Abandon List
- 冈本伦 - The current "平行天堂" has reached some crazy plot now~~.
🎨 Doujinshi Artists & Illustrators#
How could I explain this in such detail? This chapter is for everyone to understand.
Are you an 18-year-old boy?
- あいらんどう - FBI open the door!!! This artist's art style is so sultry; I really like the little sister he draws.
- 師走の翁 - Other than the idol work, I think the rest are average. The celestial beach should be his most famous work, and there's also an anime.
- zerodo - Mainly the common sense change series, which has various idol being XX plots.
- 満開開花 - I basically like every work of his; his most famous should be the hypnotist family series.
- あやかわりく - I just found out that he is the illustrator of "魔装学园 H×H," and his series about the lustful magic eye is quite interesting and still updating.
- 赤月みゅうと - "奴隶兔" should be a well-known work. Among his works, I think about half are quite good.
- ゼロの者 - This artist might be relatively niche, with little translation material. Mainly creates some incest-themed works, and the art style has a retro feel, with strange proportions. I particularly like his little sister writer series. (He was born in 1974, already 50 years old, so it might be a bit difficult to draw.)
- あきのそら - The author of the "異世界謳歌" series, with an outstanding art style, especially in certain details. I generally read every work seriously, and the one I read the most is "姉季折々."
- 大嘘 - 大嘘's legs should also be well-known, but the only one I like should be that airplane cup series.
- 八尋ぽち - The art style is quite good, but the only series that impressed me is the black magic one.
- 角煮煮 - His common sense change series is also very interesting; basically, every work is quite good.
- 八宝备仁 - The famous "美少女万华镜" series is drawn by him. (Wait, what does "super practical" mean?)
- 石惠 - I first encountered him in "LOVE³," and he also has a very recognizable art style.
- 23.4 ド (イチリ) - The author of the "堕天计画" series; angels and evil fall themes are topics I can't resist.
🎬 Directors#
- 今敏 - Unfortunately, I got to know him too late.
- 李安 - I was shocked when I watched "Life of Pi" this year.
- 宫崎骏 - I can't believe I've only seen "Spirited Away" and "My Neighbor Totoro," and I still have to watch the rest.
- 新海诚 - My favorite is "5 Centimeters per Second."
- 克里斯托弗・诺兰 - It feels like every film has a certain narrative trick in it.
- 丹尼斯・维伦纽瓦 - I've only seen "Blade Runner 2049" and "Dune," and I haven't watched "The Scorched Earth."
- 姜文 - "Let the Bullets Fly" is one of the few domestic films that I think is good.
🎬 UP Masters & YouTubers#
- Fuji_玫瑰叔 - Initially reviewing "Ice and Fire," then "The Three-Body Problem," "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils," and now "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber." My must-follow UP master every week. The advantage of watching his reviews is that you can gain deep insights without reading the original work to a certain extent. He spent 12 hours just talking about "The Three-Body Problem."
- 马刀刻森 - An UP master who creates original animations. His animations are very interesting and full of jokes.
- 老懂是我了_DongGaming - Friends who play 崩铁 should really check out his analysis; he really understands it.
- 罗翔说刑法 - Still need to understand some things.
- 天真的和感伤的小说家 - A well-known UP master in the literary genre.
- 三個字 SunGuts - His video content mainly focuses on popular science knowledge about daily body aches and shares simple testing methods and self-rescue methods. I have followed along to change some daily postures and bad exercise habits.
- 孫沁岳 - A YouTuber who specializes in comic reviews.
- 李天豪 - A history teacher from Taiwan; his history lectures are quite good and have refreshed my historical perspective over the years.
- 王志安 - A former investigative reporter for CCTV, he moved to Japan in 2020 and runs a self-media channel "王局拍案" on YouTube. His interview programs are very professional.
- 硬件茶谈 - A high-quality UP master in computer hardware; I received a lot of help when assembling my computer before.
🛩️ TG Neighbors#
- Gary の漫窝 - One of the few groups where you can talk about comics.
- 一起偷偷观察 DIYgod - A well-known developer; I guess no introduction is needed.
- Tomoko RD - Haha, I wonder whose channel this is??
- Laoself - 网络上的芳邻 This folder is set up by him, covering various personal channels in the Chinese Telegram community.

- Yu's Life - A tool enthusiast, very friendly and helpful.
- 椒盐豆鼓 - Recommendations for shopping and various life guides are quite valuable.
🎙️ Podcasts#
- 忽左忽右 - The topics they discuss are very interesting, but mainly I haven't listened enough to judge for now.
- 科学史评话 - Talks about the history of science, which is actually very interesting.
- 科学有故事 - Perhaps the best popular science host in the country, the content is very easy to understand, and he genuinely wants to teach kids scientific thinking.

- 读库 有声书版本 - What to do if you can't find time to read every issue of the reading library? You can listen to it on the way to work using the reading library app; the effect is quite good.
🎤 Singers & Music Producers#
I really know nothing about this, so I'll just list a few.
- Garoad - The original music producer for VA-11 HALL-A, very suitable for listening while working. (What bartender's playlist~~)
- YOASOBI - I realized their existence through the OP of "葬送的芙莉莲," and then I started listening to their songs. (Will there be a chance to hear them live at a music festival?)
- Keiichi Okabe - The original music producer for "NieR: Automata." You could say this game is worth it just for the music.
- RADWIMPS - The original music producer for "Your Name," their music is really good, especially "前前前世." The music for "Weathering with You" and "Suzume's Journey" is also by them. Founded in 2001, the band's name is composed of "Rad" and "wimps," where "Rad" comes from "radical," meaning "cool, awesome," while "wimps" means "coward," so overall it can be understood as "very cool cowards, very useful bastards."
- iri - Her voice has a unique charm—hoarse yet magnetic. My friend thinks her voice is similar to Mika Nakashima. I met her at a music festival.
- yama - The insert song "Oz." from "Ranking of Kings" is her work. I also met her at a music festival.
- Queen Bee - Queen Bee's music style is flamboyant and unique, rooted in punk while blending elements of Japanese folk songs, trap, funk, folk, and disco. I started getting into them through the theme songs of "Dororo" and "InuYasha." In fact, I initially attended this music festival for Queen Bee and YOASOBI, while iri and yama were extra surprises that made my heart flutter.
- Aimer - She has sung theme songs for many animations, TV dramas, and movies, including the famous "BLEACH," "Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]," "Natsume's Book of Friends," etc. I was introduced to her by friends at the music festival.
- 中岛美嘉 - How can she be so cool, NANA 本 NA. My friend said iri's style is very similar to hers.
- いとうかなこ - Known for singing theme songs for many anime and games, her most famous works include the theme songs for the "Steins;Gate" series.
🛍️ Taobao Shop Owners#
- 肥王书店 - Mainly sells Taiwanese comics and light novels. I think I've been buying books from him for seven or eight years, and I place orders with him every year.
- 优衣库官方旗舰店 - Most of my clothes are bought here...
- hopi - A place to buy figurines, but I can't even buy one a year.
- achobby - Body pillows? Who would buy body pillows? Haha, haha, haha.
- 梦百合官方旗舰店 - This brand's mattress is quite good, although I haven't bought other brands.
Organizations or Communities#
I try to provide their RSS subscription addresses; many should come from RSSHub. Since I couldn't think of categories all at once, I just put them together.
🏢 Organizations#
- The Cloudflare Blog - First of all, Cloudflare's documentation is very friendly (compared to ali/aws), and their blog is also very interesting and worth reading.
- Node.js Blog - As a Node.js developer, I think this blog is a must-subscribe.
- 读库 - I don't know how to introduce it~ It can be understood as a publisher, mainly a magazine published annually? Every few months, each issue is carefully selected and published with rich non-fiction works. I have been subscribing to 读库 for five years. (However, the number of books I haven't finished reading is also increasing.)
- RSSHub - A heavy user of RSS; I subscribe to daily news and blogs through it.
- 少数派 - After working for a few years, I developed a heavy "buy buy buy" habit, which actually started from here...
- 琉璃神社 - "琉璃神社 is a community that shares the latest and coolest ACG doujin works; here you can find a lot of joy." Those who understand know, it's actually been over a decade since I last visited the shrine~~.
🏢 Game & Animation Companies#
- 板机社 (TRIGGER) - Unique art style and quality; basically, everything they produce is worth watching and very good. (By the way, I almost thought "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" was also theirs. It turns out it was a work from their former employer.)
- 京都动画 - Also a company where basically every work is worth watching.
- AliceSoft - A Japanese adult game production company established in 1989, famous for the "Rance" series; I replay "Sengoku Rance" every time there is a major change in my life.
- Qruppo - An emerging game company that gained attention with the "抜きゲーみたいな島" (Nuki Game Island) series; Henpri made me fall in love, and I must play the Nuki Game Island series later.
Eushully - Eushully, established in 2005, was the company that enlightened me about games; before college, when I only had 2G of memory, its RPG games were my main entertainment.- Intelligent Systems - A second-party developer for Nintendo established in 1986, the producer of the "Fire Emblem" series, which has the longest playtime on Switch.
- 香草社 - Established in 2002, Vanillaware is known for its exquisite 2D art; I played "Odin Sphere," and the art is really top-notch. "13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim" has always been on my to-do list.
📰 Tech News#
- Hacker News - As a programmer, I think this website is a must-subscribe.
- SuperTechFans - Generates Chinese AI summaries of daily hot articles from Hacker News. Feels pretty good. (It has become something I read every day.)
- HelloGitHub - Used to check for new open-source projects.
Things#
💻 Computers and Accessories#
- MacBook Air (M1, 2020) - A computer that has grown with me, with 16G RAM and 512G SSD, it's perfect. (I switched to the company's M4 mini for work; this one is only used occasionally in the dorm.)
- Raspberry Pi 4 Model B - 8G RAM, currently used to run HAOS.
- 倍控工控主机四核 J1900 8G 内存 256G 固态 - Initially used to make a soft router, but OpenWrt was too buggy, so I switched back to Apple TV + Surge for routing. I will look for something fun to do with it later.
- 13600kf+4070s - A recently built machine, but I haven't found a more specific use for it; it's just used to play two rounds of "Civilization VI." However, I now use it after work. I'm getting familiar with the transition from MacOS to Windows.
- Filco 圣手 2 代双模机械键盘 - An eight-year-old keyboard; I'm currently using it for the dorm computer.
- Logitech MX Master 3 -
I had high expectations when I bought it, but now it’s gathering dust; I basically only use the laptop's touchpad. Because when using the mouse, my right hand has to switch frequently, which actually affects efficiency. Now it's connected to the Windows host. - 西部数据 (WD) 2TB 移动硬盘 USB 3.0 - I used it to back up my MacBook Air data for a while, but it often slowed down my computer to the point of freezing, so I changed its use. Now it's used for AutoBangumi's animation storage.
- Pioneer BDR-XD07B 便携式蓝光刻录机(¥356 二手) - Used to read Blu-ray discs, mainly because I bought a few CDs during my trip to Japan and was forced to get the corresponding facilities.
- Logitech MX Keys - Used it at work.
- Magic Trackpad - A gift from pseudoyu, now used at the company. After using the MacBook's touchpad for four or five years, I'm not used to using a mouse anymore, so I had to get one😂.

🏷️ Portable Devices#
- Apple Watch Series 7 - It's hard to say what specific function it serves until one day I forgot to wear it to work. I realized I couldn't live without it.
- AirTag - Bought a four-piece set, still very useful (self-satisfied🤣).
📱 Phones and Tablets#
- iPhone 16 pro - Purchased for 5499 after the 618 national subsidy. People around me say 128G is definitely not enough~~.
- iPad Pro (2021) M1 11 inches - 256G, used for reading comics, and reading comics, and reading comics. Occasionally used as a secondary screen for the MacBook.
Inactive List
- iPhone 14 pro - 128G, completely overflowed for my personal use. I actually prefer the SE series. Gave it to my dad.
- Kindle Paperwhite 4 - Combined with mox.moe to transform into a comic reader, but since Kindle left the mainland, I haven't taken it out for two years because I need a proxy to go online, and I later bought an e-ink screen reader to give away.
- iPhone SE 2 - 64G, I actually really like this size, but the battery life is too poor, so I had to switch to the 14 pro. Thinking of giving it away.
- Redmi Pad -
Tachiyomi launcher. To restrain myself from watching comics all day, now I generally only go home every two months to binge-watch comics for two days (already given to family). - Boox Leaf -
Now only used to read e-books before bed; reading comics is too uncomfortable. Lent to a friend.
🎧 Headphones and Speakers#
- AirPods Pro2 - Unfortunately, I have already gone through three AirPods Pro; the first two were washed in the washing machine, and now I don't dare to put them in my pants pocket.
- Sony WH-XB910N - I don't know if it's because it's not a flagship model, but I find it uncomfortable to wear for long periods, especially pressing against my glasses. However, the sound quality is still good; the noise-canceling effect of over-ear headphones is better than AirPods Pro 2. I don't use it often; I find it inconvenient, gathering dust, thinking of selling it.
- 小爱智能音箱 - Also an essential device, used to control various smart home devices at home. However, I basically don't use it to listen to music.
- HomePod mini(¥438 second-hand) - I bought a second-hand one to continue implementing the "buy an IoT device every month" plan (not really😂). The sound quality is much better than 小爱.
Inactive List
Sony WI-1000X - Noise-canceling headphones; I think the noise-canceling effect is better than AirPods Pro.I bought it for a "heavy price" during college, and it accompanied me through very important years. It hasn't been three years yet, and it was damaged during the warranty period due to some factors. The remains are still here. The advantage of this neckband-style headphones is that I won't accidentally throw them into the washing machine~~.
🎮 Gaming and Entertainment Devices#
- Nintendo Switch 续航版 - My first game console, Japanese version, initially to play Animal Crossing. The new Fire Emblem is coming out, preparing to give it away to buy Switch 2.
- xbox series s - My second game console, bought for Xbox Game Pass, but after buying it, I didn't want to play because there were too many games, just like having too many items on a TODO list makes it hard to get motivated. Thinking of selling it.
- Reletech Xbox Serie x Xbox Serie s1tb2tb Solid State Drive - Used to expand the storage space of the Xbox because Xbox games are too large, and the built-in 512G is no longer enough. Future generations, be warned: if you're going to buy, buy the Xbox Series X; otherwise, you'll regret it.
- Steam Deck - My third game console; initially, I wanted to use it as a server, but I found it basically can't run for long periods, so I switched back to the Raspberry Pi. "Civilization VI" lags; I can only play small games now.
- Apple TV 4K - Combined with Infuse, it's the main player at home. Now it's also used as a soft router.
🔋 Charging#
- Anker 140W 氮化镓充电器 - I actually don't need 140W; I just wanted it for its four ports, as I charge four devices daily (laptop/phone/watch/tablet).
- Anker MagGo 三合一无线充电器 - This is used at the company; it can wirelessly charge the phone in landscape mode while checking the time in standby mode.
- Anker 安克 MagGo 磁吸充电宝(¥369) - Not as good as the previous one; I need the stand function.
- 海备思 熊猫色 Switch 便携底座 + 65W 氮化镓 - A kind of artifact; both the Steam Deck and Switch rely on it for expansion.
Expired List
Zendure 65W 氮化镓充电器 - One for three and lightweight; I rely on it for charging my phone, computer, and watch while traveling and at home. However, it leaks electricity, which is a downside. Not very good.倍思 苹果 Magsafe 磁吸无线充电宝 - The iPhone really doesn't have enough battery; when going out for a day, I must bring a power bank.Lost it.- Anker magsafe power bank (5000mAh) - Quite convenient to use, but as a power bank, its tendency to be lost makes me wonder if it can last more than a year~~ Lost it, didn't last more than a year.
💤 Sleep#
- 安耳悠 隔音耳塞 - During high school, I was very tense, which made me sensitive to sound, so I would wear them to sleep. Until two years ago, I would still suffer from insomnia if I didn't wear them while sleeping, waking up to the sound of my own turning. Now I can sleep without them.
- 梦百合(MLILY)零压床垫 15020010cm - I've had it for two years, and it's still very comfortable. I bought one for both home and dorm, improving sleep quality UP UP (maybe because I haven't used better mattresses).
- 温眠人体工学深睡枕 3.0 (¥279) - It is indeed better than the pillows that came with the dream lily, but the difference felt is not significant.
❄️ 💧 Temperature and Humidity Control#
- 米家落地扇 - Used during summer, but often not enough, so I still turn on the air conditioning. Now using this in the dorm.
- 小米直流变频两季扇 (Tower Fan Black) - I regret buying it; I shouldn't have thought of using it in winter. Also, it's not enough in summer; I still need to buy an air conditioner~~ Currently used by my parents at home.
- 米家电子温湿度计 Pro - I just found out that the humidity in Guangdong is really high, basically above 80%.
- 小米抽湿机 13L - Bigger and heavier than I imagined, and it does make noise. At first, I thought it was useless until I went to empty the water. To reduce humidity from 80% to 60%, I felt like I had to empty countless times~~.
- 小米空气净化器 5 -
The air quality in Xi'an is not good.Back in Guangdong, it has basically become a dust collector. - 米家智能香氛机 - Used to improve indoor air atmosphere, providing a comfortable fragrance experience. Received as a gift from a company event; feels a bit subtle to use.
💺 Desks and Chairs#
- 八九间 U5 人体工学电脑椅 - It's not tiring to sit all day, but after trying the ergonomic chair from IKEA that costs 1700, I realized this one isn't that comfortable. If I sit up straight, the backrest doesn't fit snugly against my back; I can only lean back to touch it.
💪 Health#
- 小米八电极体脂秤 - Used to measure weight, body fat rate, and other body data, can link with the Xiaomi sports health app.
- QWE 吨吨桶 2000ml - Solved my water drinking problem; I fill it up every day at the office, aiming to finish it by the end of the workday.
- 米家负离子吹风机 H301 - Used after daily washing, but I still let it dry naturally more often.
🔦 Lighting#
- 米家显示器挂灯 1S - Currently used as a desk lamp.
- 米家床头灯 2 白色 - Reading comics before bed~~.
- 米家 LED 智能台灯 - Absolutely a magic tool; after using it, I hardly turn on the ceiling light in my dorm room. It works with Xiao Ai to turn on and off at will.
Expired List
- Yeelight 智能床头灯 D2 - Initially used to experience HomeKit; the light is very soft. However, it didn't serve much purpose and was quite expensive.
🍳 Cooking#
- 米家智能 IH 电饭煲 3L - I regret buying such a small one; I don't want to cook when I'm alone. But when there are many people, it's not enough capacity (my parents took it).
- 飞利浦空气炸锅 - I use it every week now.
- 米家电饭煲 N1 3L - Bought another one; the power cord is really short~~.
- 海尔(Haier)小冰箱 123 升 - A refrigerator is indeed quite necessary, but it feels a bit large for living alone.
💆 Massage#
- 米家迷你筋膜枪 2C - After starting to work out, I found my body sore everywhere, so I bought one for massage. It's still more reliable to follow along with videos for various stretching exercises.
Software Tools#
> Command Line Tools (Command Line Interface)#
Actually, there are too many; I will only pick the 20 I use the most.
- Homebrew - A package manager for installing various software; if you use MacOS, it's basically a must-install.
- Claude Code - Now my rice helper; I can't work without it.
- OpenAI Codex CLI - A command-line tool for AI programming assistance that can generate and execute commands in natural language directly in the terminal.
- x-cmd - A product from my previous company, a tool that is worth a hundred commands. In one sentence, it's
[ ash, dash, bash, zsh ] * ( asdf + oh-my-zsh + tldr + gh/gt/gl client + … ) - git - As a programmer, if you don't know how to use git, that's really embarrassing.
- wrangler (Cloudflare) - A command-line tool for developing Cloudflare Workers.
- docker - A tool for developing and deploying containerized applications; it's also a basic software that cannot be missed.
- hurl - A tool for testing HTTP requests.
- markdown-link-check - A tool for checking whether links in markdown files are valid. The links in this article are mainly checked using it.
- zsh-fzf-history-search - A tool for using fzf to search command history in zsh.
- rsync - A command for file synchronization between servers. Most Linux systems come with it; I rely on it for file transfers between servers. My favorite parameters are
-acvP. - rclone - A tool for transferring local files to cloud storage. Those who have used cloud products like S3, R2, OSS should have used it to some extent.
- imagemagick - A command-line tool for processing images; I mainly use it to batch convert image formats.
- ffmpeg - A command-line tool for processing videos; simple video slicing, transcoding, and other operations can be done with it.
- ollama - A tool for conveniently running LLMs locally; of course, whether the computer's performance is sufficient is another question.
- onefetch - A command-line Git repository information display tool written in Rust, similar to neofetch but specifically for displaying detailed information about code repositories.
Expired List
- frp - A tool for internal network penetration; I used it to expose my Raspberry Pi so that ServerCat could connect. (Cloudflare Tunnel can't connect.) After using Tailscale, I basically don't use it anymore.
📝 Text Editors & IDEs#
- VS Code - The editor I mainly use now, and the experience is great when combined with Claude Code.

- dracula-theme - I'm using this theme.
- GitLens - A plugin for viewing git history; its
blamefunction is too useful; during team collaboration, you can see at a glance who wrote the code. - shellcheck - A plugin for checking shell scripts, especially useful for checking which syntax is not POSIX compliant. This is very useful when writing various shell-compatible syntax.
- indent-rainbow - A plugin for displaying indentation. Mainly looks good and can also be used to check if the code's indentation is consistent.
- markdownlint - A plugin for checking markdown syntax. However, since it's a linter, I don't think there's anything particularly noteworthy; generally, you should have a corresponding linter for whatever language you're writing.
- Zed - A new editor I've recently started trying; its performance is indeed very fast, especially in startup speed and responsiveness. I'm trying to replace VS Code, but the ecosystem and plugins still have some gaps, so for now, I'm in a dual-use state. Using this more primitive solution allows me to discover which designs in VS Code are necessary, which are good designs, and which are over-designed. This "downgrade experience" might be a pretty good way for me to understand design details.
- Obsidian - Software for writing diaries and notes; during my daily dual-screen work, one screen is often occupied by Obsidian, and whenever I have an idea, I write it down directly. It's commonly used for writing less technical articles. (Technical articles are generally written directly in markdown in VS Code.)
- Shiba lnu - I'm currently using this theme; the color scheme of my blog is based on it.
- obsidian-linter - A plugin for formatting markdown; however, I feel its functionality is still not perfect, and sometimes it produces strange issues.
- obsidian-git - A plugin for syncing Obsidian notes to a git repository. One issue with using Obsidian is that it lacks version control; many times, I write some records and keep deleting and modifying them, causing some historical thoughts to be lost. So I use this plugin.
- obsidian-pinboard-sync - A plugin for syncing Pinboard bookmarks to Obsidian diaries. Mainly to be able to search for my previous bookmarks and corresponding comments in Obsidian.
- obsidian-image-auto-upload-plugin - A plugin for automatically uploading images in Obsidian to an image hosting service.
- obsidian-auto-link-title - Automatically fetches the title of a link and replaces the link text, making links more readable and aesthetically pleasing.
- simple-anki-sync - A plugin for syncing Obsidian notes to Anki cards, making it easier to convert knowledge points into flashcards.

cursor - I can't live without Cursor; it's really useful. Intuitively, 70% of the code I write at work is written by it. (Afterwards => I overspent $20 this month, thinking of switching to the one acquired by OpenAI.)Now switched to VS Code + Claude Code.NewLine - A plugin for adding empty lines at the end of files. As for why to add empty lines, refer to this article. You can directly enable it through configuration without needing a plugin.neoVim - As someone who isn't used to using native vim, is it too radical to use neovim to split VS Code? However, I can't list all the configurations and plugins I use here; I can only list about 20 plugins at most. I will update my neovim-config later. My M1 AIR is lagging, and it's really hard to get started, so I temporarily gave up.- lazyvim - I mainly use lazyvim to configure my neovim plugins.
- ~Copilot | LazyVim - The first must-install plugin is also the Copilot plugin; I've reached the point where I can't code without it.~
GitHub Copilot - A plugin I can hardly do without; I've gotten used to its presence. When can I also ride on popular open-source projects and avoid using it?I refunded it; Cursor is indeed better.
📈 Productivity Tools#
- align(limited free) - A window management tool designed for macOS, I got it during a limited free period. At first, I thought it was useless because I mostly use multiple desktops instead of multiple windows, until I used a 4K monitor~~. Now MacOS has it built-in, but it's not as good as this, so I installed it again.
- Chatgpt App - I bind it to cmd + space for quick access. Generally used for quick Q&A.
- Raycast - Everyone says it's good; it has a beautiful interface, and I rely on it for various desktop operations now. The clipboard history function is almost a must-have tool. Now Spotlight's functionality has also improved a bit.
- keybr.com - A website I used recently to practice typing.
- iStat Menus(Setapp) - A tool for displaying system status in the menu bar. (Actually, I don't think it's very useful, 😂)
- Session(Setapp) - A Pomodoro timer software included in the Setapp gift package; its advantages are that it can link with Apple's calendar system, support multi-device synchronization, and is user-friendly on the desktop.
Expired List
Alfred- Initially used for its clipboard history function, but after using Raycast, I don't use it much anymore; it has been replaced, after all, it costs money. However, its search function is still very useful.- OpenCat Pro(¥38) - Used as a desktop client for ChatGPT; since you can't use plus on the web, you can only use a limited number of 4, so I used it to access gpt-4. (Of course, you can also use DeepSeek too.) After subscribing to claude pro, I basically haven't used it, sorry☹️.
- ServerCat(¥38) - Like OpenCat above, it's also a product from the well-known developer Baye. Used to check the status of servers. Haven't used it much either.
💻 Virtualization#
- OrbStack - A lightweight alternative to Docker Desktop; I use it to manage my Docker containers.
- VMware Fusion - Recently mainly used to run HAOS tests; it's better than UTM.
- Raspberry Pi Imager - The official tool for burning Raspberry Pi system images, with a simple and intuitive interface that supports multiple system choices.
Expired List
- UTM - Used to run various virtual machines on Mac. I ran a Home Assistant for testing.
Docker Desktop- Now using OrbStack.

Expired List

📷 Image Processing#
- Affinity Photo 2(全家桶 ¥688) - A very powerful photo editing tool, but I've only stayed at the stage of modifying resolution and cropping, which is really a pity.
- PicGo - A tool for uploading images to image hosting services; I use XXX image hosting.
- upscayl - A tool for high-resolution reconstruction; it looks quite good.
- webp - A redirection service that can automatically add watermarks and compress images; I use it for my image hosting. Thanks to Yu-kun's Building Your Free Image Hosting System from Scratch (Cloudflare R2 + WebP Cloud + PicGo).
- TouchRetouch(Setapp) - A professional image repair and object removal tool that can easily remove unwanted objects or blemishes from photos.

- 阿里云盘(¥168/y) - Mainly used to store movies and TV shows, then watch them through Infuse, generally able to utilize full bandwidth. I opened an annual membership. (I'm hesitant now; Infuse's streaming still requires an additional fee, effectively doubling the price.)
Expired List
- 夸克云盘 - Used to store some less important files, mainly given by Taobao's 88 membership.
百度网盘 - I used to download various H games through it, but now the censorship is getting stricter, so I hardly use it anymore.坚果云 - Used to sync projects across multiple computers in early college, but after using git, I hardly use it anymore.

- bookmarker for pinboard - Used to add the current page to Pinboard.

- Immersive Translation - Used for translation; I can't live without it; my favorite color is
#FB8F68.
- Chrome - Still can't escape; certain websites and development scenarios must use it.
Expired List
Arc - The current main browser. I can use two workspaces as two profiles, one for work and one for life. I can segment my identity well.In the end, I cut it~~.
💬 Communication Tools#
- Telegram - My TG channel Tomoko RD is my personal space for rambling. As a talkative person (sending over 2000 messages a year), I prefer to share daily trivialities here rather than on X - speaking in the TG channel feels like talking to myself at home, while X feels like shouting in a square, which is too much pressure for me as a socially anxious person. You're welcome to visit my channel, although it's just daily trivialities.
- X - Mainly used to follow updates from some tech bloggers and open-source projects.
- Discord - Mainly used to participate in open-source community discussions and feedback; I use it very rarely.
- Fastmail($50/y) - My main email service. Its random anonymous email feature works very well with 1Password, making it my first choice for registering various websites. This feature also protects my privacy well.
- 微信 - Mainly used to contact friends and family in China. Recently, I've started updating my Moments again and reconnecting with old classmates and friends.
- QQ - Who else is still using QQ besides the second dimension? 😂 Recently, I occasionally browse some old friends' posts on QQ.
- 熊猫吃短信 2(¥12/y) - A spam message interception tool for iPhone. Although it works well, sometimes the system automatically clears intercepted messages because I don't check them for a long time.
🔑 Privacy and Security#
- 1Password(¥248/y) - Can use its autofill feature on iPhone.
- DAMA(¥12) - After using it, I found it very intelligent; it can automatically identify potential privacy information in your photos and automatically redact it. It can also help you handle some sensitive information in photo metadata.
Expired List
- XLocker($9.99) - Used to hide some apps on iPhone and iPad at appropriate times. Combined with shortcuts, it can hide apps with one click. (Not very useful; it's better to use iOS's built-in hidden feature😐.)
🌏 Network Tools#
- AdGuard($18.37) - A tool for blocking ads, but I feel its effect is not very good; maybe I didn't configure it well.
- Surge 5($49.99) - Now used on both Mac and iPhone.
- Tailscale - A VPN tool based on WireGuard that allows your devices to form a private network. Simple to configure and easy to use. Super awesome; if you have IPv6 or Fullcone NAT at home, connecting to your NAS from outside is super convenient. I'm currently using it to remotely access my dorm computer from the company. Not to mention that I can use it to watch the anime downloaded by AutoBangumi at home. (A match made in heaven.)
Expired List
Shadowrocket - After switching to Surge, I abandoned it.
💪 Health Monitoring#
- Apple Health - Used to record my daily steps and sleep time; my previous sleep goal was 0:00-7:00, but that was completely wrong. Combined with Apple Watch, I found my sleep efficiency is less than 90% (Sleep Apnea); sleeping this way is equivalent to long-term sleeping for 6 hours, no wonder I've always felt quite sleepy. Recently, I've changed to going to bed at 10:30, roughly falling asleep by 11:00, and waking up around 7:00 (feeling much more energetic).
- 小米运动健康 - Mainly used to view data from the body fat scale.
Expired List
- fasty - Recently using this to practice Intermittent Fasting; 16:8 is still super easy to achieve. For specific reasons to do IF, you can check out this article Intermittent Fasting | Pepper Salt Doufu. Often forget to check in~~.
- Waterllama($9.99) - Drinking water is an important thing that can be easily overlooked. With the above 2L water bottle, I no longer need it.
Apple Fitness+ - After subscribing to Apple One, I got this service, replacing the previous use of Keep. However, the usage frequency is concerning.First of all, it doesn't have Chinese, and secondly, it's expensive, so I stopped using it.Keep - The combination with skipping rope is actually quite good.I used it for fitness before, but now I've stopped using it and switched to Fitness+. How to say, Keep is actually very suitable for beginners, but for someone like me who already has a certain foundation, it feels a bit lacking. I have now arranged my own workouts and combined them with videos.AutoSleep - An app for monitoring my sleep; I feel it doesn't mean much, so I've stopped using it.Pillow - An app for monitoring my sleep; I tried subscribing for a year but found that it didn't differ much from AutoSleep and the native Health sleep monitoring, so I stopped using it.Pokemon Sleep - An app for monitoring my sleep while collecting little Pokémon's sleeping postures. (Although the sleep quality is still terrible) I stopped using it; I have to remember to open it every day, which is quite mentally taxing. Now I only keep Apple Health.Zepp Life - Formerly Xiaomi Sports, now mainly used to view data from the body fat scale. (Later found out this app also syncs weight data to Apple Health.)I mistakenly thought Xiaomi Sports was gone; I was wrong.
🤖 Smart Home#
I try to only use smart home devices from the Xiaomi ecosystem to avoid installing too many different platform apps. When purchasing devices, I prioritize whether they support Xiaomi, although some devices (like rice cookers) don't have much significance in supporting Xiaomi.
- 米家 - Used to control smart devices at home, such as lights, air conditioning, and vacuum robots. However, when the internet goes down at home, these smart devices become useless (it seems this issue can be solved with a gateway).
- Aqara Home - Had to install it because I used Aqara's camera.
- Home Assistant - Deployed on Raspberry Pi, will gradually expand applications in this area. Actually, there are other devices, but I will only list the ones I use more frequently.
- HomeKit Integration - Bridges Home Assistant devices to the Apple HomeKit ecosystem, enabling interconnectivity with Apple Home.
- Steam Online Integration - Monitors the online status and gaming activity of Steam accounts, which can be used for automated scene judgments.
- Xiaomi Smart Home Integration - Official Xiaomi smart home integration that supports controlling and automating various devices in the Xiaomi ecosystem. Who would have thought that I have all Xiaomi devices? I plan to buy some from other manufacturers later.
- OneDrive Integration - Connects to Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage service for backing up configuration files and automating data storage.
- HACS - Home Assistant Community Store, a community-driven add-on store that provides rich custom integrations, frontend components, and automation tools. Key point, without this, many plugins wouldn't exist.
- VS Code Add-on - Runs Visual Studio Code directly in Home Assistant, making it convenient to edit configuration files and develop automation scripts.
- SSH Add-on - Provides SSH server functionality for Home Assistant, supporting remote terminal access and file management.
- Home Assistant Companion - Recently, I have been using Tailscale on my phone to let HA recognize whether I am home, automatically turning on the air conditioning and computer before I arrive.
- Apple Home - The prices of devices are relatively high; currently, there are only a few devices. However, with Home Assistant, there should be more possibilities.

🛒 Shopping#
- 多抓鱼 - I used to buy various books often, but now I consider them luxury items and no longer buy blindly.

- 淘宝 - Suitable for purchasing special items, such as Taiwanese books, foreign recharge cards, etc.

- 朴朴超市(Mini Program) - For buying groceries and daily necessities.
Expired List
得物 - Bought a few things.Other mainstream shopping platforms can meet my needs, so there's no need to use an additional platform.
📺 Video & 🎵 Music#
- YouTube - I no longer renew my Premium membership; the mobile viewing scenario can basically be replaced by the computer; combined with AdGuard to block ads, it's enough.
- 哔哩哔哩 App - A light video user, with an annual viewing time of less than 200 hours. Mainly focus on updates from a few UP masters.
- infuse($12.99/y
